All tates are in our nature

Originally only the raspberry cuberdons were available, but at Sweet Cuberdons we decided to expand the range of flavours with more than 25 different flavours. We combine tradition and modernity.

All our flavours and colourings come from natural origins.

Ifs Food

What is this? IFS Food is an international frame of reference for evaluating the compliance of products and processes in terms of food safety and quality. The IFS Food frame of reference applies to suppliers at all stages in food transformation after the agricultural stage. The IFS standard is therefore a way of demonstrating good management of the safety and hygiene of our food products. At Sweet Cuberdons, we were until now IFS Food Global Market certified, but in September 2024 we obtained IFS Food certification.

Superior taste Award

True to the Superior Taste Award, Sweet Cuberdons strives to create quality products every day. What an honour and recognition it has been to receive a 3-star Superior Taste Award from the 200 or so best chefs and wine stewards in the world who work with the International Taste Institute.

Vegan

Since 2018, we have been producing our cuberdons without pork gelatine, using fruit pectin instead. Not only does this make our cuberdons unique the world over, but it lets their flavour shine through, so say the gourmet foodies! Who better to acknowledge the work of our confectioners than V-label, with whom we have been working since 2021 when we achieved our first Vegan certification!

Production

A recipe based on natural colourings, without animal gelatine.

The fabrication of cuberdons meets unique requirements, our confectioners working to recipes that require many processes to be performed down to the last detail. The cuberdons are poured into corn starch moulds, then placed in a warm room for 5 days.

Tradition and innovation

We enhance tradition

Cuberdons are traditional Belgian sweets that surprise our neighbours with their unique characteristics and complex fabrication. To make them we only use high-quality ingredients: water, sugar, glucose, pectin, gum arabic, flavourings and colourings. The secret is to use the correct mixture and temperatures during preparation, to achieve a crust on the outside but a runny interior that will delight even the most hardened foodies
